In addition to my work as a psychologist, I am an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology for both the on-campus and online Zoom platforms. I love that I can teach graduate students who are studying and training to become therapists themselves.
As a college professor at Pepperdine University for 15 years, I have teaching and training expertise in Adult Learning Theory. Knowing the best strategies on how adults tend to learn allows me to tailor training programs to take advantage of the best learning practices. For example, adults are eager to learn relevant materials, connect with experience, and increase self-awareness of their motivation style to improve themselves.
Years ago, I developed a passion for helping my clients face career challenges, so I completed the required education and training to obtain my license as a Professional Clinical Counselor in California.
