What Went Well: The Novel
What Went Well follows seven women inside a short-term therapy group led by psychologist Dr. Hannah Erickson.
Each woman arrives carrying something different beneath the surface: grief, perfectionism, resentment, burnout, loneliness, old wounds, emotional exhaustion, or the growing realization that the life they built no longer fully fits who they’ve become.
Over eight sessions, the group slowly becomes a place where honesty begins replacing performance.
At the center of the story is Hannah herself, a seasoned therapist quietly navigating the tension between helping others heal and remaining connected to her own inner life.
What Went Well is a novel about relationships, emotional truth, and the hidden lives people carry beneath competence and routine.
Therapy is not about becoming someone else. It is about hearing yourself more clearly.
